DPF DELETE

Im working on a DPF delete on a 2008 6.7 cummins' I have bought an edge J/A. Now Im a little confused about what I need to make a code free delete of the DPF? Does anyone know what the best solution is? Ive read so much about different deletes Im not sure which to do?:s:

you have to use sims and then turn the key on and let the Edge clear the codes...to be totally code free you need either a smarty or black maxx

Smarty with software upgrade to S67ME. The S67ME is the trick!
