hm...any specific feedback? any better fuel milage and are you running the mp8 without a programmer?

I got a mp-8 from Luke & I've been happy with. I have a S&B airbox , but other then that it's stock, no tuner. I got about 2 mpg's out of it, but it's hard for me to say for sure, I'm normally "on the gas & kickin a$$" so I don't really get a reading that I would swear by.

I have been running one for about 25k miles. It adds a little power and alone it usually helps with MPGs. From 1-3 MPG increase.

i gotcha, might have to look into one, trying to get my tires and 8in lift ordered and am gonna need something to keep from seeing single digit gas milage and rather soon but tight on money with the lift and tires to buy

If money is tight, should you really be lifting your truck 8 inches?

I've had the MP-8 for 10,000 miles and its a great stack with the edge. its like 15F up here and the only thing ive noticed is it tends to suck fuel when i let my truck warm up in the morning with high idle at 1100rpm so i usually turn it down then but otherwise i love it.

Any updates. What kind of mpg were you seeing before adding the mp8?

considering i only had about 10k miles on my truck when i got it, i was getting 16.5-17mpg.
Now i've got about 20k miles on my truck and im seeing 18-19.5mpg.

i was in upstate NY and it was cold and they had winterized diesel, so that didnt help my mileage at all. but im gettin stationed out in San Diego and so far this trip i've calculated as high as 20.2 mpg. I also do mainly highway driving empty, and i stay right around 2000rpm (72ish mph).
pulling my trailer (8000lb), the mp-8 helps on acceleration, but i think it sucks fuel under load, so i turn it down once i get up to speed.

overall i think its a great stack with the edge, xrt, pmt, anything really. it just gives that extra kick without burning a lot of fuel.
