So Far Whats Done

I am still waiting for the ok from Bully Dog on the PMT. Should be another week or so. I had the AirRaid air box and tube installed. Will try to post some pics. The box and tube look nice definetly open run for the air. Stock tube was full with a plastic runner the whole length of it. On mine the silencer ring is not held in with a clip like some before. In fact there is nothing that i saw that can be removed from the turbo housing. I now have the MBRP dual 4 inch which deleted the muffler.
Performance seems to have been slightly increased. Intake and turbo sound was greatly improved. Sounds like it should as there is way more air being sucked in. Turbo seems to come in a bit quicker. Exhaust sound not that much noticed yet. I assume because of the DPF and cat but a little increase in the tone of the exhaust. Truck pulls noticably harder for the minor upgrades done so far. Before it seemed to strain to turn the tires over while brake boosting. Now it will smoke em pretty easy. Not much of a test but, I can judge a little by that at least till I can get some real numbers on it. Thats all for now. Will post as soon as I get the PMT on and the bigger charge tube. Blade Runner or the Banks Hi - Ram i'm guessing. If any of ya'll have suggestions let me know.

I would be interested to see a computer print out of numbers before and after to understand what the computer in the truck sees and how it reacts to the upgrades. my initial feeling from the 6.7L was that it was not to be screwed with because of the number of items that could send it to limp mode. If I'm wrong I would love to see that the proof is in the pudding so to speak.

Well I kinda heard that too so I am tryin to be a little careful. The only thing I can confirm is that the PMT is actually shutting the truck off completely. Bully Dog is workin on that and they said they should be giving me the OK in another week or so. I am just hoping the companies can do how they always have and figure a way to improve on everything. I will try and get some numbers from here on out and see if I can keep track of that. So far though no limp mode:up:. I heard that a delete kit for the DPF and cat are being worked on heavily and projected to be out in a month or so. HOPEFULLY

That's the rumor. I heard the same thing that it can't be done but heck that's what they say about everything I guess. I will post as soon as I know for sure on what and who.

TS performance MP-8 is now installed! Total install time was just about an hour. The instructions were good pretty straight forward. Box itself is actually mounted just inside firewall next to main harness connection under dash on driver side. That seemed the easiest place to keep away from excessive heat and water. Had just enough cable to get it there. Plug on back of Fuel rail was a pain in the ass mainly cause of placement being right next to the hoist bracket.
Performance increased? Hell yeah!!! Will try to get on the dyno soon. I am gonna stack it with Bully Dog PMT still. For now this thing is great! I havent been able to check fuel mileage increase/decreases yet will keep eye on it though. Will try and get some pics and/or video posted after today hopefully!
