S&B air filter recharging
 

So i went to auto zone to pick up a few things today and i picked up a k&n recharge kit but now whats got me thinking is can you use it for a S&B filter to recharge it? any input would be great thanks.

i cant find where it says that theres anything wrong with doing it but i did find that the k&N oil and the cotton fabric in the k&n filter work together some how but i bet that it will work with any cotton fabric filter that basically the same :humm: but not positive

s&b sells a filter recharge kit.... I bought one when I bought the airbox for my truck. I have the stuff for a k&n, but wasn't sure/didn't want to chance it.

How many miles did it take for your s&b to get dirty? Mine's been on for abotu 10K and it still looks prety clean, I even loosened up the clamp and gave it a spin to make sure one spot wasn't getting dirty real quick, didn't appear to be the case at all.

ok thanks their is about 14000 miles on it now.
