EGR Delete Question
So I did the h&s egr cooler delete kit and it runs good lower egts n:U:o problems as of now except a couple of codes any one else ran into that. And how did you get rid of them.
what programmer you got
The codes will be present unless you can somehow fool the signal with a clip on harness type fooler. The programmer choice will make an impact but it will just temporarily remove them, if at all until the truck's computer requires another regen or whatever.
So, either just leave the codes alone or work on fooling the signal so that the truck doesn't go into limp mode. Oh and of course this is for off-road use only, right.:w2: |
smarty or xrt will work
yeah for off road use only if pavement is comsidered off road!:U: but as of now i have a egr delete and a dpf delete, and a edge racing.
Well blocking your egr is putting your truck in the offroad category. Doesn't really matter what your local government has for smog inspections, that's federal law. Anyways with all that crap aside, set your Edge to clear codes on start up and you should be good. If not, ditch the edge and get one of the code free downloaders. :U:

I did the H&S egr cooler delete as well with the black maxx, no codes of any kind, and this programmer does not just clear them it eliminates them altogether.
