This could be bad.

About 20.000 miles ago I went in to have my turbo/egr cleaned due to some recall or something. 2 Days ago I was installing my S&B intake and I notice... The intake tube for the turbo was NEVER RE-TIGHTENED! Think that could be a problem? Running with a completely loose clamp for 20.000 miles?

It COULD be, but unless you actually inspect your impeller wheel, I don't know that you can tell if there's been any kind of additional wear or damage. I think that as long as you weren't driving at WOT around in dusty fields off-road and you were in good conditions, it should be okay, but I'm no expert. If your turbo was cleaned and looked fine, it should be okay. That's what I'd be the most worried about.

I really wouldn't stress about it unless there was an actual gap and you've been driving around in a lot of dust. Yeah you did dust it a bit but odds are its not gonna make any difference. This is IMHO.

Ditto!

what i would be scared about would be taking it in for warranty work and them trying to blame the new intake on "dusting" the motor when in fact, it was their lack of followup on their mechanics part to make sure the job was done before it left the shop, that dusted the motor.....

X4. Don't install your new intake until you check it out or have them check it out.

Too late. Already installed it, well if worse comes to worse :fu2: warranty. Ill bomb it.
