6.7 Upgrades Without Voiding The Warranty
Is there any out there that has any knowledge of suping up a new 6.7 without voiding the warrenty? Thanks:humm:

ZERO might be able to get away with an exhaust, thats about it. My bud has a 6.7 with an Edge Bigger intercooler and cold air intake. Truck started to act up took the Edge off still the same problem. Took it to the dealer gets a call the same day to come and pick it up. Gets there and the service manager just hands him the keys on the spot and hands him the techs sheet and on it the tech wrote "Can't diaginois problem, proable caused by all of the AFTERMARKET crap thats on the truck." Thank you have a nice day........ He didn't know if they voided his warranty yet or not

hate to say but he's right, you basically cant touch these things without voidin your warranty:argh::argh:

You can do a cat back exhaust and an Intake but thats about it. cummins is being strict on these new engines. but it all depends on the dealer you take it to.
What you can do is go in to your closest dealer and talk to the service manager and ask him what you can do that will not void it. |
Just about the only thing you can do is put a sticker on your truck with dealers now. Just maybe you can get a steering wheel cover lol

Already tried, i got mine last april and couldn't do a thing to it unless i got the warranty voided, it was alot of bs but there aint nothing money cant fix so who needs warranty lol

intake and exhaust, and injectors. but if you have to take it in, you have to take it off. you may b able to get by with injectors. also, look for upgrades from mopar, they shouldnt void the warratny. see if they have an intake/exhaust that works with the truck..

just like cummins tech said, cat back exhaust and a cold air intake. that is it. injectors are a no go since they are controlled by the ECM with a serial number. higher flows will show up on the ECM in the fuel count . the ECM has the ability to record the amount of fuel used, run time and key cycles. wait for the smarty!
