new to the 6.7

so i sold my 05 5.9 and i picked up a 08 6.7 that is all stock. i wanna do the deletes on it to help it breathe better and fuel mileage. everywhere i look i can find the stuff to delete it but im not sure which programmers will turn the MIL off. any help would be greatly appreciated!

They all used to, not sure anymore haven't done much research after the big EPA crackdown. I would call the manufactures and see what they say.

If I were in your shoes I would do EFI live. Hands down the best of the best.

I believe it just rewrites the ecm programming as if the emissions stuff wasn't ever there. But with something like that I would call the manufacture and see what they say. Maybe someone else who knows for sure will chime in and let you know.

ive also seen when u delete the egr there seems to be a problem blowing head gaskets. could i just take the egr valve and undo the actuator? i keep getting mixed results when i search for it.

New to site. Bought a 2009 Dodge 2500HD w/ 6.7 looking for advice on economy and care for my machine. It has the Blue tec and I am wondering about long term issues with this system. Truck runs great 145K with low towing miles.
