Smarty j67 ME and Delete ?'s .

I have a 2008 2500 6.7L and have the smarty Me loaded on the truck and did the sinister diesel egr/cooler delete . Do I need to unplug the throttle valve? do I need to remove the egr motor and remove the spring and plug and leave the motor plugged in and zip tied out of the way? I didn`t do any of these and I`m not getting any check engine light, but I do want to do it right and not have the engine go into defuel mod or something like that. Any and all input will be great!

Throttle valve needs to be unplugged. EGR motor needs to have the spring removed and left plugged in, otherwise it will loose abit of HP.

i dont beleive you lose any power i didnt run my egr motor for along time. then read were it said to do so. put it on for about a yr with no change and theother day saw it dangleing cause the zip ties broke and ended up rubbing a hole in my low pressure power steering line. took it off and through it in the back of the truck with no change in how it runs. the throttle valve take it off and pull the flapper at minumum. or buy the delete peice for 50 bux. :tu:

I'm saving up for the grid heater delete , intake horn and grid heater relocate. So that will take care of the TV, but I wanted to make sure I had stuff right until then. Shot I haven't had the truck on the road since the end of October. I bought the truck back at the end of May 2012 and I don' t think I have put but a little over 1000 miles on it so far. Thanks guys!

Loses 27 hp on our dyno. Funny you couldn't feel it. We did, that's why we dynode it.
From Marco's code free install instructions:
Required EGR / Throttle valve / EGR Cooler modifications :

There are two possible ways to delete the components in the engine bay.
1.Disconnect only the throttle valve connector and block of the EGR. In this case all other connectors and
components can remain in place.

2.Remove the EGR system entirely. Then all components, EXCEPT the EGR actuator motor, can be unplugged and
taken off.

The EGR is disabled and can be disconnected without generating codes. YET!!!!!!, unplugging the EGR will throw
the engine in a limp mode thus about 40Hp are lost, The actuator motor of the EGR valve should remain
