Springs or spacer for leveling?

I just sold my 05 std cab cummins 4X4 that had a 4" lift with 35" Toyo tires and bought a 2012 crew cab longbed Laramie, I'm thinking I don't want to do another 4" lift and was just thinking of leveling the front and throwing on some 285/75/17 or 33"s Toyos Open Country mt's; my thought is to what should I do. Should I do the spacer or 2.5 inch taller springs? any thoughts or ideas? Not quite sure if the 33"s would fit but I am also planning on keeping the stock wheels on it too so there will be no offset change so I don't want the tires to rub when turning.

the springs will ride a bit better but the spacer will be more cost effective. if it were my truck and the funds were there i would put the springs on it.

i dont know that i agree that the springs will ride better i had a 4''lift with spacers road just fine no diff then stock bought a 6'' w/ spiings on same truck it rides like a lumber wagon i would say go with spacers imo the stock springs ride pretty good you put a spacer on its not going to change the ride so i would say go spacer half the price for the same destination :tu:

Spacers are good for show. If you tow heavy especially on uneven ground go with springs.

So you planning to do anything else with the front end, or just install some springs or pucks and call it good?

I vote springs. If I knew then what I know know I would def have put springs on.:tu:

I also put lower control arms on with my spacers and 4 new shocks along with bump stops. I have never had death wobble and I am still running stock track bar. :tu:
