Torque converter cooked?

Transmission shifts and transfers power as it should when the torque is not locked up but when the H&S is turned up and i try to roll into the throttle while in 6TH (TC locked) the truck will downshift, rev out, and shift back into 6TH, never throwing your head back at all. It used to never shift down if i rolled into it, and would take off like a bullet. Is my torque converter cooked? Truck has the latest H&S tune, Overdrive tuning, and transmission fluid was recently changed to AMSOIL and still smells good.

Sounds like you have startd to slip your clutch. Thats how mine started, then 5th started doing it. I took it to the dealer to get a read on the clutch problem and because dodge's techs are told to do a soft reset before they scan and test drive my truck forgot how to drive with the slippage and now I only have 1-4th gear :argh: :scare2: :argh:. So basically I have a 2008 paper weight in my driveway, well until I get the money for the trans.

Yes, it will hold 5th and 6th if i stay under half throttle or so rolling into it.
