Possible brake issue??

i have noticed recently that after traveling 10+ miles and i come to a stop there is a metal on metal sound and a noticeable sound coming from the front end. it only occurs intermittanly and only at speeds less than 10mph. do you think it is possible that i have a rotor warped or maybe just junk brake pads??? in thinking about replacing pads, rotors, and calipers on the front. i figure if i have it torn apart i might as well replace everything.

How many miles on them? If the rotors were warped you'd feel a brake pedal pulsation. Def no need to replace the calipers as long as the pistons move freely.

the truck has 117k and i would say the rotors and calipers are stock. im thinking a caliper is sticking because the wheels are cool but the rotors are blistering hot.

Yea def a sign somethings not right... I'd order them to have on hand in case but you'll be able to tell right away if theyre junk when you try to push the pistons back in to install the new pads.

well i changed front calipers and pads yesterday and i think that fixed the problem. no more noise or grinding when coming to a stop and the rotors are significantly cooler after driving. so i hope that problem is solved.
