Hard Down shift

Default Hard Down shift

When i have my exhaust break on when im going about 20-40 and let off it down shifts really hard..the truck like jerks..but when its off no problem at all......what could it be

mine does that to sends the horses stumbling in the trailer, also would like to know what is the cause

yeah i usually take it off the e brake when im rolling slow..i wonder if the dealership can re flash the ecm or something to make it not do it

Mine does it as well. i think it's a combo of down shifting and the sudden increase in RPM kicking the exhaust break back on, mine turns off at around 1000rpms but will downshift and jump back over 1000 turning the exhaust break back on (or engaging it), causing a rapid decelleration.
