6.7l wastegate

im looking for a wastegate for my truck trying to prevent blowing a headgasket but im not to sure what kind to get.. what are you huys running on the 6.7s? i have the stock turbo still.

Your turbo cant build enough boost to blow a head gasket. And your truck has a wastegate already

Boost isnt the problems with blowing a HG. Drive pressure is another story though. A set of ARP headstuds and an External wastegate will help A TON in preventing a HG failure.

i sell them. black ops waste gates.

i hooked up a drive pressure gauge after i blew a head gasket. drive pressure gets high.

I would do the studs first and then the wastegate, or both at the same time if the funds allow.

pull the head fire ring or o-ring it then arp 625's and a waste gate= problem solved

how much for all that..i guess ll just wait til it goes then send it out..

I'll second fixing it right the first time. It is a bit more expensive, but the money you spend to have the head gasket replaced a second, or even third time, will go a long way towards doing it right. Til you at least get studs in your truck, try to stay somewhat conservative with your timing, which will help keep the cylinder pressure down.
I do know there is something in the works right now for the 6.7 which should solve the headgasket problem once and for all. Once it's been tested and proven, it will be made public.
