Diesel Bombers - Some Unofficial Testing

I was at the track the other night helping my friend Mike debute his new 10.5 inch outlaw car and got an itch to run. So I did, first pass with the new MP-8 I got from LukeDiesel turned down to stock I ran a 16.54 @ 81. I was running a mustang GT i treed the shit out of him so he didnt catch me till somewhere around the 1000 ft. mark. He ran a 15.47 @ 88. Second pass I was lined up with him again :U: so I cranked the MP-8 from LukeDiesel all the way up. I brought (John, after John Coffe from green mile) up to around 1400 just before he starts to make boost. I treed the guy again but, John spun like crazy I lost a half second on my 60 ft, time 2.87 from a 2.37 I almost caught the guy tho and John ran a 16.307 @ 85. Mustang ran a 15.54 @ 87. The announcer was clowning the guy cause he had this big ole diesel on his ass. Third pass the guy didnt line up on me again "give: I got paired with a 05 Duramax (stock) he said he ran a 16.0 something and a 16.1 something earlier. So I figured John had his hands full till I can figure out the launch point. I bring John up only to about 1000 1100 rpms and I got this guy by .6 on the tree. My girl MO was in the truck with me and said he wasnt close at all I turned around and could barely see him (so I thought something happened to his truck that bummed me out) till I got the ticket. John ran a 15.37 @ 91 with a 2.17 60 ft. time :U: :c: I wish I would have still been runnin that GT:ha:. I rolled John across the scale and he weighed in at a rather healthy 7920 lbs. Half tank of fuel and some shit in the cab me 315 lbs and my chick at 165 (shes 6 ft tall) hot and in shape no fat chicks for me. So I am happy with the progress so far and with another box and some straights with more track time John will be a tuff run for some lightly modded cars. Duramax didnt break guy ran a 16.43 @ 79
