ford guy look at dodge

ok yall im a ford guy with the pos 6.0 and im considering possibly selling my truck to save whats left of my sanity and wanted to see what yall have to say about the reliability and power potential of the new 6.7.

any input would be awesome

all I have to say is I love mine its awesome really the only weak point is getting the head to hold down which can be done with the right setup it all depends on what you are wanting

I would suggest you look at a 5.9 instead of the 6.7

Or better yet, do a 12V conversion on your truck. You could do a lot of work to your truck including twins for a fraction of what it costs to but a new Dodge truck. JMO of course.

i will say that i love dodge and cummins...5.9 preferably but the interior of fords just seem nicer

Yes said in the other thread that the Powerstroke is more reliable than the Cummins lol

I owned several 6.0 ford deisels that stayed in the shop and they did everything they could not to fix the trucks and I have bee a ford guy for 30 years. And hated dodge cummins. But i bought 6 Dodge duallies and they worked like a horse. had a few torque converters lock up and a few valve body swaps but they stayed on the road. Fords were always in the shop. These were all 5.9 cummins. My choice would be a 5.9 cummins with an allison trans in a ford F350
