Have you taken it into the dealer for the recall? If not I strongly recomend it. This is a very dangerous problem and can cost you your truck. Make sure you point out the insulation to the service writer and make sure he puts the information on your invoice. That's so if you have a problem in the future you have documentation of the problem and the cause.

whip me beat me, take away my EPA card. According to my dealer I was the only one he heard of NOT getting this letter from the dealer about turbo problems. Far as I am concerned the vgt has got to go anyway, phat shaft silver bullet in the future. I knew of 9 other guys had to have their turbos replaced before 50k and two had to have the DPF filter swapped as well$$$$$$. I moved out of a communist community that required epa inspections every two years and a miracle happened, noise from under the truck, things fell off, yatta yatta yatta, and I went from 9mpg to 24 on the highway, AMEN!! I'm told that my turbo may last years longer now, why it's like curing diesel cancer! My truck can breathe, my heart goes pitty pat every time I lean on the accelerator, woo woo. I must have found a well of holistic diesel medicine that overrides the government wish to control my every wish and just may have found why Chevy Volt's explode when drinking from the same well. Around town I have seen two Volt's spray painted with Obama down the side. The first thing that should go is, well Obama, then we can work on increasing our trucks to 54.6 mpg!!!!

I went out in the parking place for my truck a couple months back and OMG somebody stole stuff off my truck that they might sell because of the metals in it? It looked like two guys carrying off a Boa Constrictor that had swallowed two sheep and a pig. What could I do, what could I do, I said, "don't take all that crap that Dodge engineers put on there to meet Obama test standards". "Don't leave me with a highly efficent, high mileage, smoother running, (well except for that death wobble thing), please, please, please don't make me tow my trailers with this stripped down 700 horsepowered, smoke belching, flame throwing diesel burning ....... ah forget it you guys keep the shit I guess I don't need it." I sure can't afford to replace it. :dang::jump::dang::jump::dang::jump::lol88::cannon :
