It should not hurt a thing running in T/H mode. In fact they should of called it town and haul mode not tow and haul as it allows the TC to lock up in 2nd gear and up thus giving a bit better mpg for town driving. I have also noticed that if you want to improve your mpg in a CTD you don't drive it like a V8.

I've always been pretty light on the skinny pedal. I'll ride it once in awhile, but for the most part I take it easy.

Again, I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that either. That big Dodge just likes to ROLL too often, I don't intend on it...just kind of has a mind of it's own and says..let's go. I'll keep trying but I hate those little bumble bee muffler kids having all the fun.....

7000 miles total ( hand Calculated) 13.2mpg ave., best was @55mph (1 Time ) 15.4mpg, ave @ 70mph was 14.7mpg. Added Edge with Juice - last 1100 miles @ 70-75mph average 16.8 on setting 1 and setting 3. Amazed at how often it regens and what it does to mileage. No wonder I couldn't make sense of my averages before!

I make a few trips to Louisianna on I-10 and I have been getting 18-18.5MPG when I stay on the Interstate. Normally I get around 16 Heard A few Horror stories of guys not getting more the 12-13 I would suggest checking the Intercooler line and make sure the Clamps are TIGHT.

This may sound like an odd question, but those of you who get the higher mileage out on the highway, how much traffic is there on those roads?
I ask that, I've noticed that the best mileage I get is when I'm following people, I'm in their draft, or the draft of the vehicles that I'm in and out with in traffic.

The rpm is a killer. Driving the speed limit keeping it at 55-60 your rpm on a 6.7 cummins will be at about 1600-1700 rpm and you will get 17 easy. Put some good conditioner in and accellerate easy and this is easy to get. When i drive like i am
off to a fire my mileage is way lower.
