Got the H36 Recall

Got the H36 recall today anyone else had this done yet if so how long will it take em to do it. the paper says an hour takin it in 2morrow

Is that the one for your hood pad rubbing on the EGR? If so, it shouldn't take them more than an hour to do it. If not.. I haven't gotten that one yet.

Edit: I just looked, that one was H34. I haven't gotten anything about H36 in the mail yet. They're going to love me for adding that to the to do list for Thursday. lol

Its the steering drag link

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

wow there are still good dealerships out there went to mine today asked if the programmer stack and emissons system being deleted would be a problem and they said no they didnt care even if it was warranty work because they get paid the same either way.

that dealer right there my friend is a keeper

cummins tech 03-11-2009 12:12 AM

Its were the dealer replaces the steering drag link and they check the steering damper bracket and replace it if needed.

well that one is done and out the way it wasnt bad at all especailly since I didnt have to take my mods off

cdiesel217 03-11-2009 06:54 PM

that ain't bad. i got the H34 and i took it to my dealer and my egr is blocked along with many other things, and thy said they wouldn't do it.

i took it to two more dealers and they said they wouldnt do it, so i did it myself with a tie strap hahahahahahaha!

I haven't heard of the g36 recall until now my truck hasn't been to the dealer since I bought it in 2007 I lost my egr and dpf so the last recall didn't apply to me:humm:

Which dealer is that? The one in Greenville? I need to start bringing mine up that way, instead of dealing with the anti aftermarket nazi tech here. I found out the other day the tech at JOD is anti ANYTHING aftermarket. :booo:
