looking at buying first diesel need help

Hey first of all thank you to anyone who responses. I'm looking at buying a 2010 2500hd slt leveled with 2inch lift has 97k on it and a 3 year 60k bumper to bumper warranty. I work in the oil field so I'm away from home for 20 days at a time I've been told letting diesels sit is terrible for it. I won't be towing anything I just love diesels. Do you think if I bought this Truck would I have lots of issues or would something else suit me better?

No you won't have any problems with it sitting 20 days you may want to just keep an eye on your battery voltages.
If you are not hauling a whole lot maybe the new F150 ecodiesel is out now or maybe a small diesel car.

I just personally like big trucks. I've never owned one I just want something I can put more hp into lift it up a bit and have fun with. I have never owned a diesel and there is so much more to it then I realized. So I just didn't want to get in over my head. Do you think I should go older then a 2010 or the 2010 should be good.
