straightpipe

I just ordered my mini maxx, aes 7-series C.A.I., and all the pipes and blanks to do my deletes.

The pipe thats coming with my kit is just a cat and dpf delete pipe. I was planning on running a turbo back straight pipe. Can I leave the muffler off and have the dpf delete pipe as my last section of exhaust pipe and still have the proper backpressure?

Will this effect mileage, as well? I'm trying to get to 20 mpg at 75 mph. Right now I average about 17 with the cruise locked at 1800rpm.

You don't need to have anything on the exhaust for back pressure, the turbo creates all the back pressure you need. You can have the exhaust dump under the truck if you want but I doubt you'll want to leave it that way very long... Unless you're completely deaf. Hell... I'm half deaf and didn't make it 2 miles. I thought my ears were going to start bleeding!!!
Doing deletes should up your mileage a decent amount but every truck is different as to how much of a difference.
20 mpg at 75 mpg.... You may need to slow down a little. I average 16-17 regardless of city beating on it or hwy driving

Back to the crickets....
