So i don't have the truck yet it being shipped up to me cause i happen to find thought my work the truck has lived in FL for the first 3 year of life, it's 2011 Crew Cab Laramie 6.7 CTD so it has warr. on it still and will deletes void warr. is the Q ,and where work for the company it has few extra warr. with it but it has 32k on the one runs out 3 year 36 k, but i'd like to do DPF EGR Delete, headstuds, programmer and maybe pillar gauges on and what would be good programmer for it gonna be towing a enclosed 4 Place enclosed snowmobile trailer and also maybe a travel trailer also will be daily driver.

H&S is really leading the way with the new Diesel engines
Congrats on the truck! :tu: |
i will looking into the h&s one mini maxx would be safe bet ?? and any other deletes that are recomend ?
|
i thinking S&B CAI for it also, is taking the silencer ring off good idea or will the intake get some turbo sound, i love the sound of 5.9 w/o silencer ring i like the same sound but don't wanna mess with exhaust brake
|
Removing a silencer ring does not harm anything, a cold air intake is never a bad upgrade.
IMO a straight pipe and all the deletes would accompany a Mini Maxx very well. With those done you should have a truck that you are happy with :tu: |
with DPF, EGR Delete, headstuds, Mini maxx programmer, maybe s&b intake,4" turbo back exhaust i should be good and pretty happy with that set up ??
|
Yes. Very happy, for a few weeks.... IMO horsepower is the most addicting thing on earth.

So i took hooked up snowmobiles today and took them for walk on the new toy i must say i love tow/haul mode, so crappy news i talk to the guy know dealership and i can't Delete the truck cause of nh si the most i can do is a CAI and down pipe to stright pipe out the back have leave the dpf on the dam truck rrrr dam tree huggers!!! but he said wouldn't bother with head studs if not putting a programmer on it and no really need to put if not deleting it but with doing those few mods he is about the best you can do and your better off leaving it stock so that Dpf doesn't get soaked few extra fuel and fine with clean stock tune is best bet for not clogging up the dpf
