turbo change

I had the turbo replaced at a dodge dealer , now my exhaust brake does not work , do they need to program the computer or why doesn't it work with the new turbo ?

i know it is not my job but i wanted to know what they have to do to fix it , because evidently they don't know , and i am 1,000 miles away from home and 500 plus miles away from the shop that changed the turbo

i understand that i travel as well. but any dealer has to pick up the others $hity workmanship and non mechanincs trash. im not sure what would cause this but sounds like a faulty turbo or actuator.

The turbo is a VGT turbo and I think it uses the turbo as the exhaust brake not 100% sure but if they replaced the turbo and did not run a programing procedure for the actuator it may be the cause of your problem. or they forgot to plug un a wire. Im not sure if dodge uses the turbo for the exhaust brake for if they have another actuator that is the exhaust brake..
