Cam shaft?

I'm putting my truck in the shop to have the head gasket replaced ... Would it be worth putting a cam in it ??? If so what else do I need to do if I decide to go with a cam ?:tu:

Are you planning on doing some serious mods to the truck?
If not I wouldn't worry about it.
