4" or 5" Exhaust

I'm in the market for a new turbo back system for my rig, now i know there are endless amounts of topics about this but i wanted to make my own. So basically i want to know the differences in basically the sound between the 2 sizes keep in mind i will be goin with turbo back. also if there is benefits of one.

5" will have a deeper tone. Put a muffler on it, 3rd gens sound horrible straight piped.

4 inch will work performance wise and will be quieter on road trips. five inch has a good deep tone. if you do a lot of road driving a muffler might not be a bad idea helps on the drone. also watch out for car alarms, five inch will set them off:tu:
