When to do Head Studs?

I just bought a 2011 3500 Chassis/Cab 4x4 G56 truck. and purchased a flo pro 5", XRT Pro race tuner, H&S EGR delete, ISSPRO EV2 factory match gauges, and S&B intake. I know the Chassis/Cab has lower setting on the XRT Pro so I was wondering that if I run this full delete set up on the wild setting 50hp on the C/C do I need to get a set of head studs? Im just wondering because that is like the mild setting on the reg. trucks. and the engines are the same minus programing. Oh and im new here. im coming from cumminsforum.

Sooner the better! I recommend head studs on 6.7s in stock form because they can lift the head easily.

welcome to db. i say as soon as posible. if you do it before you pop a hg you can do it with out pulling the head. by replacing each stud one by one in sequence.

Ok that kinda sucks but it is cheap insurance. I'll budget it in. Thanks guys:c:

I agree 100%, do it when you delete or its going to cost you in the long run. Everyone says I'll just run on mild but once you've tried hot it's a whole new ball game...

Don't run the no power setting with timing on3 as the duration is too long, stay below 1/2 throttle until 170' temp, don't use defuel settings just use your gages. Mild2 no att is very safe
