blow off valve
could i put a blow off valve on my stock 07.5 dodge dually

There is no need to, as your intake system has no throttle plate/throttle body. When fuel needs drop, boost drops slowly and methodically. There is no throttle plate (as in gassers) to suddenly shut to cause boost pressure to stack up behind it. That would be a waste of time and money. BTW Welcome to the site. :hellox:

i have heard alot of mix about this. but yes you can add a bov. i have read that it actually good for the turbo. then on manual trans trucks it helps you get better spool time between gears because it allows the turbo to keep spinning at almost the same speed instead of having to play catch up everytime?? is this true i dont know but that is what i have read

thanks for the replys and now i have another question, service required came on today but i jus changed oil & filter bout 400 miles ago. could it be the particulate, egr or fuel filter

guessing you prolly around 76k miles or so if so its the crank case vent filter. no biggie. you can get the light off by doing. ( Turn the key to the ON position, pump the accelerator 4 times to the floor. Turn the key back off. Service interval dinger should be gone.) if you delete your truck just delete the ccv filter as well. im not sure if it would do anything to a stock truck?
