Need tires bad before powder flys! Kinda like the nitto terra grapplers ... But also like toyo mts and dura tracks . I plow snow hunt, fish, and ride mx. I put lots of road miles on as well as towing and putting duck boat in some nasty game reserves. Bit want a tire that lasts.

MT's suck in the snow blieve it or not, no siping on them. For plowing better off with AT's. :c:

But they look good lol that's why I'm kinda leaning towards nitto Terra's they look good for an at and have a 50k warranty and decent reviews. Options are slim in a 305/70 17

You could always have the MT's siped @ Schwab. Best of both worlds!

The DuraTrac's are a winter radial, so they will be the best in the winter. 60,000 miles isn't unheard of either. I have them, 6 of my diesel buddies have them, and there is nothing else we put on our trucks.

CumNasty 12-18-2012 06:31 PM

ive heard horror stories about them wearing fast on diesels...but love how they look

Every tire wears faster with the more weight you put on, and adding more power. 60,000 miles isn't too bad for a winter radial with a tread pattern like that.

Even if they don't last as long as others, I like to know I have the tire that does it all, all year long.

i have found that a softer tire makes a better winter snow/ rain tire. i got some hard tires on my truck now and they are dangerous on wet road (michelins) nice for wear but not for wet roads.

CumNasty 12-18-2012 07:18 PM

thats kind of my thinking. THe duratracks look great and i watched my buddy drive through 33 inches of snow in his hemi lol but im a cheapass lol if im going to spend upwards of 1000$ i want it to last
