Put intake in 5 mouths ago driving home in 32 degrees cold..cel pops on
Map sensor and a few other codes for buro all related to intake...took apart
Re clamped everything cleared cel...any body else having any issues with these in takes? And no i havent cleaned fhe filter or oiled it yet trk got 6,350 mi

 

may try cleaning it im not running s&b im running afe but has been on since 08 and has done me great

 

Had an AFE on my 2011 and it did the same thing when it was colder weather I end up pulling the intake system and taking the truck back to the stealership just told them the CEL came on and they reset it. They said that it needed a software update, I still have not tried to put another intake on it. Cant wait to see where this goes

 

i have ran mine in -25 no issues must be a prob on the newer rigs

 

Found air box side clamps loosened up... re tighten everything
Put over 100 miles on trk no cel...thanks for the input guys

 

I have an S&B with the scoop on my 2011 and I've never had one single issue. Weather it's 115* or 29* like it was this morning. You may want to check and make sure all your connections are good and that your MAF sensor isn't bad.
