Guage install write up.
 

Figured this might help a few people. Because I was lost when I went to do mine. Autometers website was alot of help to they have a write up on it. But this one is how we did it.

Your first step is to pull your intake manafold, just the left side not the side that conects to your egr.(I pulled the whole thing it was a Biatch.) Then drill and tap it.(make sure if you have an aftermarket intake you get a 90* fitting so your boost hose isnt kinked.) This is the finished product.

Second is the egt prob. I drill and taped the back side of the driver manafold from underneth. Make sure you get a strong magnet to get the shaveing out. And as a warning dont break the drill bit off. It is a sever pain in the as$.

Then you have your tranny temp it is the easyest one to do. You have a test port one the driver side(looks like a small plug) it is half way up the trans. Pull it out then put your probe in.

The wireing is common sense. But the if you follow your e-brake wire you get a nice whole through the fire wall. Just pop the ruber gromite out and you are good to go.

If your guages have memory you need a constant power, a on and off power, and a dimmer. Here are some pics of the fuses we use and what head light wires.(make sure to buy the add a fuse deals they make the job cleaner).

You have to cut your fuse box lid so all the wireing will come out.

And when you runn your wires to the guages the easyest way is to get them all pulled through then tie all of the wires that do the same thing for each guage together insted of running them all one by one.

Most important have a good friend with you. Makes the time go by and helps out with the job.
