DPF Removal Guide
 

good afternoon! does anyone know of a DPF removal guide, walk-thru, or step-by-step pictures of any kind for a 2008 F250?

What programmer you thinking of going with?

I'm not sure. have a stealth2 on my dmax but i am not happy with it. i dont want to spend a ton because i mainly want it just for the delete but i do want something that will be reliable. what do you recommend?

The H&S XRT hands down would be the best for what you wanna do. And for the Duramax either the H&S Products, Edge EVO Races, or the PPE Hot Race

Yeah with the XRT Pro you need to make sure that the coolant in the truck is warm when you downlaod the XRT ( For some reason it seems that they download better). Also when it comes to the selecting is the dpf installed in the vehicle you need to select NO that way it downloads the delete software. After the programmer is fully downloaded you can now remove the exhaust system from the truck and unhook all the sensors from the wiring harness and remove and unplug the hard steel lines from the dpf. With any of the H&S programmers you do not need to put the sensors back into the pipe.

Yeah the downpipes can be a b****h. Most of the time we just sell the downpipe back exhaust systems because the factory dp are designed quite well for a factory down pipe IMO.
