SCT question chaing setting on its own
 

I have the SCT Live Wire and Delete pipe on 08 F350 4X4, most of the time it is in Extreme mode, this morning I looked out my side mirror and notice a big clould of white smoke, reminded me of when i had a pump go out, I looked at the dash and seen Cleaning Exaust.

This is the first time this has happened as I when I programed the truck I know the setting for EGR and Delete pipe have always been correct and have had it on this setting for the past couple of months, it has never went to cleaning Exaust. Has anyone else had this happen? as soon as I made it to the office I put it in preformance mode to see if it took care of it but havnt driving it since.
I do not keep the programmer plugged in it is kept in the console.

I am more curious than anything I dont think it hurt anything other then leaving a 10 mile long trail of white smoke.

hmmm... i personally have never heard of that... but i will say the other week when i put my sct back to stock (have idp tunes) the sct (itself) went to stock but my truck had atleast the extreme street tune in it..

eric got the lw. and said yeah... its stock.. he said some times it happens. and to give sct a call with my stratigy number and they can email me another stock file. .

might call sct and see what they say? ? ?
