More turbo whistle please
My brother-in-law just got a 2010 6.4 and dangit it's too quiet. Do I just need to get an intake or is there some other cheap way to help the twins scream?

intake is a good place to start. dont know much about the fords and their turbos but removing the silencer ring on a dodge makes it come alive a bit.
|
do a dpf back exhaust and an air intake.. an no there is no silencer ring in the turbos lol
but really the best thing to do is do a dpf delete.. tune it and add a muffler/resonator (gets rid of the hair dryer sound) |
Hair dryer sound. Lmao. I better just try to get him going with the intake for now. He's gonna want to keep that warranty in tact for a lil while longer.
|
I put in a S/B cold air intake, SCT tuner, 5in magna flow with 6in tip, dpf delete and the whistle is a little better than stock. SShe doesnt whistle nearly as much as my 03 duramx did
