Custom Crossover Pipe

Hey all. I put a 6" suspension lift in my 95 K2500. The front drive shaft wouldn't clear the crossover pipe since the kit lowered the front differential. I went to the local shop and they said it'd be at least $275 depending if the bolts break or not. I also wanted to do a bigger exhaust so I decided to say f*** it and pick up my own tubing/pipe bender and do my own crossover. My question is what size pipe should I go with? Should I stick with the stock 2"? I found some 2 3/8" tubing local for cheap, would that be too big?

If I'm not mistaken the after market cross over's are 2 1/4'' - 2 1/2'' depending. all that I did for my cross over was cut the pipe and put an extension on the driver side to clear the front drive line. You would be fine with stock size but your best bet is the madrel bent pipe for better flow.
