improved exhaust

MBRP Inc. has an two exhaust systems ( S6206304 & S6206409 ) that I am considering purchasing. However I have no interest in installing myself. My question is 1. Is there better systems and 2. Does anyone know of an outfit that would or can install either of these systems or some other equal or better systems in the Palm Springs area? My truck is a 2007 F250 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel F250 Crew Cab Short Bed.

dont live in the palm springs area but you should be able to contact a muffler shop or a mechanic shop and someone should put it on for you. they are extremely easy to install.

Check out Summit Racing Equipment, they have major brands and Summit brands (major brands that have a marketing agreement with Summit). You may find one for a little less. At any rate, you'll have to keep the cat living in the People's Republic of Kalifornia. The up side to living there is that it is so dry that I wouldn't bother with the stainless steel version, the aluminized will be all of the corrosion protection you need there.

Some muffler shops may want you to buy the system from them, duh, mark up. The local muffler guy here told me that it would be cheaper, and a better fit to buy a 4 inch system than to have him make one in house. Other than that, what the other guy said.

You'll find some new power and lower EGTs when this is done. :jump:

Thanks so much. I hadn't thought about the stainless issue. Couldn't be any drier out here in the middle of no place (Desert Center, CA) or hotter 120 degrees last week.

MBRP is top of the line IMO. I've also heard really good things about silverline. Being that you're out in the desert and don't need the stainless you could just pick up a 4" TB farmboy or similar setup for a lot less money. You usually pay for the hardware and the stainless material, but you don't need that. You can get 4" TB's for about $265 and 5" TB's for around $300 in the aluminized stuff.

If you're looking for high end, MBRP is it I'd say.
