6.0 Fuel Filters

OK, just looking at getting ready to replace the fuel filters on my truck. Has anyone used the ones off of Ebay? They are a lot cheaper on there than getting them from ford or anywhere else. Here is one I found. Any thoughts?

If it were me, I'd go to your local International shop. Order International #: 1847170C92. It is for the VT275, but it is the correct part. I think they may have updated the part number to 1847170C93.

The price is about what you are seeing on E-bay there, and it is the official no worries International part.

Cool, thanks for the info.

I buy from the local Autozone and the wix brand is about 45 bucks i believe So this is a better deal!

Just ordered from international today. $38.

Make sure that the Wix Filters you are buying have the white outer membrane on the larger filter. That is the water separator. If you don't have the outer membrane, I wouldn't be buying them anymore

I just ordered one today. Should be here tomorrow. Thanks for the info. I think they sad it was $29.xx. Not to bad considering ford wants something like $117 for it. What a rip.

FF

I have seen issues with after market FF's on the 6.0's. I have seen some of them not seat properly in the lower housing causing the fuel pump not to come on. However. I have put wix filters in with no probs, except the orings. I have had a few wix orings tear on install and spray everywhere. So save your old ones for a few hundred miles.

Correct!
I just bought Motorcraft filters from Advance Auto for $45
