2005 ford 6.0 no start
Need some help please on trouble shooting/repair. No Mods vehicle is a stock F-350 with 110k miles. I am original owner. I installed a 9'2" boss plow on vehicle upon purchase of truck.
While driving (snow plowing) the engine shut off as though I turned the key off, no warning had plenty of power. Using a snap on modus scanner -ICP reaches desired 1500 PSI plus. I did unplug for default still no start. -IRP starts at 15% and ramps up to 85% then drops down to 45-55%. IPR was replaced approximately at 100k miles on vehicle. -ficm input voltage 12.5 v -ficm voltage 48.2 and at cranking stays above 48 volts -ficm sycs -ficm was replaced around 95k miles, due to failure low voltage. - checked ground wire from ficm to left rear corner of intake OK. -Fuel pressure at test port 62 PSI, filters good. -bubble test and balloon test done, no pressure push back found. -Buzz test all injectors click good. -checked all body grounds OK -Engine cranks and occasionally fires a cylinder or two but will not start. I have checked wiring to both cam and crank sensors continuity is good no grounds. Ohms across at PCM wiring harness to each sensor both with in spec. I live in Northern Michigan and have found cam sensor pushed out from rust and salt build up, I have removed both sensors and check for this problem OK. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated, (frustrated):argh: Thanks, Keith |
