6.0 falling on its face at about 3000 rpm

ok this just started the other day i run my truck hard i am always on the pedal but now when i hammer on it, it jumps and starts off good gets to about 3000 rpm and just falls on its face i do not know it its blowing smoke to cold up here right now but no black smoke, and also it looks like i am blowing water out of the over flow to but not running hot, i have a laptop diagnostic but not really to shure what to look for if there is no load on it motor sounds fine only under load. i have 4in ex. turbo back and hyperteck e-con programmer, any help would be good

Welcome to the 6.0 world of potentially needing head gaskets. I'd suggest deleting the EGR cooler first to prevent spending too much so soon. Otherwise start collecting money for the big job of head studs.

ok

yea thats what i thought but it runs fine untill i go into the passing gear sounds like it not shifting right

Probably isn't shifting right. The hypertech does nothing for the trans. I'd look into custom tuning with an SCT after you get it straightened out. It's really the only thing capable of accessing the TCM and controlling the way the trans shifts with hotter tunes.

Pull the EGR valve and see what it looks like in there. If it's wet, do an EGR delete right away.

How do you know it's not running hot? What are your gauges saying? (I mean aftermarket gauges, not the factory fool gauges that read nothing).

ok well i have had the truck for about 5 yrs now and done nothing major to it this is a first it has alway had a surage in it at about 55-60 and it ran pretty good i am geting a trans flush right now trucks in the shop and they are going to check the fuel presser and chage the fuel filters its been a while and no i do not have a mechanal temp gauge just the factory but i am going to do a egr delete as soon as i get it back and a blue spring if that dont work then i guesses i am doing a head job. but going to get them to run a compresson test on it what should it be? and if all is good can i just change the head bolts to the arp head stubs with out pulling the heads
