Default First gen swap: into a 1986 F250

First off, it this thread would be better suited in a different location of the forums, I would appreciate any admin moving it.
Howdy. As stated above, I am building a 1986 f250 and transplanting a 1989 cummins into it. I have gotten the truck fairly close to done, but I am getting into relatively unexplored territory, as well as the frustrating little stuff that would be much easier to ask the community about than try one failed experiment after another.

This is my pride and joy. When not torn completely to pieces.

And this is the most recent picture of the swap I have at the moment. Yes, its painted ford blue. Sue me.

My dad, brother and I have completly rebuilt this engine. Upgrades at this point are numerous, with more to follow. Anyhow, I am trying to find an intercooler that would work for this application. While I am aware of a lot of first gen guys using the 7.3 intercoolers in the dodges, I am worried if it will fit in the ford. I dont currently have one in hand to check, and anybody that has input on putting it in a ford would be much appreciated.
Also, I have upgraded to a Holset HX40, and wanted to know if there were any specific downpipes that have been used by anybody here for that turbo. Trust me, more questions will follow, and thanks in advance to anybody that can contribute to this build.

Thank ya. Took a lot of time and work to get it to that point. It came with the 6.9 IDI. I loved that motor, just got tired of holding up traffic everywhere it went. Reliable as anything though. This is the truck when I brought it home from D.C. Had a plow and salt spreader too.

I know this is old, but how did this build go? I have a 5.9 out of a school bus that I would like to put in my 86 F-350. Any help would be appreciated.
