i need some advice on some upgrades
 

i have a car that i set up for drag strip only built it two years ago and i am wanting to actually get it down the track with better times ... it has a first gen 5.9 6bt out of a 89 d250. auto 727 already installed 3200 gov springs but that is it for the most part .. any help would be much apreciated

well i am going to be working on it on the down time this season to have it ready for next year. as for money ... i will buy as i go .. and here is the video of when i built it

Good lawd, why o why do people do that?! You could have built a SB Furd for less time, effort and money and had a faster car. I'd be thinking more about chassis mods. You are probably already close to your fastest possible time because it'll never hook.

that was the first runs . i get traction with 29 drag m/t's i have to find the photo of it picking wheels off ground from tree ... but i was thinking about throwing injectors in it an possible water meth

Find some way to stuff a big honkin' intercooler in there.

If whats in you first post is all you have done some basic pump mods are in order.

I cant give you alot of performance advice, but i have to say that is definitly different.. and i like different :tu: I'll be looking forward to hearing about this car in the future

What kind of pump mods ? I have had a 2nd gen and did the plate but never a rotary pump

Timing, crank it to the head... It's free. Air dog, Water/meth and turbo and a better torque converter/shift kit if it's a stock trans. With some pump tuning that'll be more than sufficient to make that thing NUTS. Be warned... Your rear will pay the price

40 horse fuel pin, turn star adjuster and full power screw. 150hp injectors, 16 cm turbo housing. All fairly cheap upgrades. For the pump adjustments go hereTurning up the pre 94 Ram diesel injector pump

From what I'm seeing in your vid, you're nowhere near the potential of that engine, even with the VE injection pump.
