3200 spring addtional mod question
Hey fellas, Recently purchased another 1st gen 1990 non-ic 5 speed 4x4! Im lookin to do 3200 spring but i recall in Diesel Power mag (project rust bucket) they were installing the spring and while they were in there they said that a trick was to grind a lever back some with a dremel. I know from the pictures this lever was inside top hat of the pump and not in the lower half of pump, but since the pictures are vague im not quite understanding how far exactly to grind this lever!? Is this for ease of re-installation? or is there a performance advantage by doin this? I just figured while i was in there i would do everything possible that helps her perform a lil better!!!

You'd be better off taking the entire lever out because if it turns out to be too hard to control smoke and heat you can reinstall the lever.
