how to adjust wastegate?
 

ive done some searching but i havent come up with to much:humm:. can some one tell me the basic way to set the wastegate on a turbo. my turbo is a hx40. thanks.

you put a wrench on the little nut thats on the actuator bar coming out of the wast gate going to the turbo and turn it left or right to gain or lose psi on mine each turn is 2 psi gained or droped but yours might be different then get in your truck and drive it and se if you gained or lost psi and then go from there if your lost it turn it the other way and if you gained it keep goin till your satisfied

hmm ok. i figured it was simple like that but i just wanted to make sure first. i just gotta figure out my wiring problem to get power back to my gauge :dang:

what guage is messing up

my 3 in 1 guage. i think i have a bad connection cuz its not getting any power to turn on.

is that the glow shift guage thing because if it is i would invest into a better guage i have some friends that bought emm cuz they were cheaper and seemed nice and a year later they have all switched to the same autometer pro comp guages im running and if you get 2 double pods and trim it a little bitt they will fit as a quad pod on your pillar and you cant tell its 2 different pods. butt i would deff switch brands man and then again i have had some people say gloshift is the best guage they ever had butt mmost people dont

ya its not to bad off a guage. like u said, the price was right for me when i got it cuz i dont have to monney for others. its better than nothing ya know.

ya man i hear ya butt just put you a little jar by your bed and throw your change in it every night you can look on ebay i got my quad set up for 200 tltruckparts
