Non-ic intake horn mods needed
Ive seen some of the homemade mods you guys have on here for a non ic intake horn, and i just dont have acces to make one. Do any of you know who makes them for sale or would be willing to make one and sell? I really think the stock one is way restricting, and I would still need the grid heater as well. Thanks guys

Ya thanks thats what i meant, crossover tube, i have a couple cummins so i get mixed up. Looks pretty nice, i"ll hit him up. Did it even include the boot? Thanks for replies!

Came with the boot (specify which turbo you have and he will give you the correct one), 2 gaskets for the intake and grid, 2 clamps and 2 spacers for the throttle bracket.. Here's the link to his thread with all his info. 1stGen.org • View topic - 3" Stainless Intercooler Tubes For Sale ( CoolerTubz )

400+ Hp is capable with the stock intake. But yes a homemade or one from Tim is a good upgrade, I just would not spend the money until I needed to.

Here my reasoning for gettin one: Im gettin a different turbo and am going to intercool it in the future so if i get one now i can enjoy it and later after i ic it i could just flip it around, maybe with some minor mods, and hook up my ic tubes to it and have a larger intake as well. Thats just my thoughts. I would make my own but i cant make the square piece where it bolts on over the grid heater.

:U:
Look in the sticky and you will see the one I made when I upgraded my turbo. |

Wow that looks awesome, well done. The only piece i need is the flange and i could easily make the rest, welding the pipe to the flange and bending the corners.
|
The flange would be pretty easy with some 1/2" plate and a drill. Use your stocker as a template.
