What I am talking about would be an 8-hole nozzle, staggered angle and hone size, made from a cylindrical blind-hole 7mm P style nozzle. 4 holes @ 0.012" and 155°, 4 holes added @ 0.009" and 145°, Extrude Honed to balance the flow to within 1% and a little pintle work.

That sounds pretty cool. What does the different size hole at a different angle do?

sounds about as intense a design to make as the 10 hole nozzles I suggested in the other thread. |
The different hone size and angle is an effort to reach different areas of the piston bowl and mix atomized fuel more diversely with down draft air. This is being based off of using the far right nozzle.

I have since went away from 8 orifices, 2 similiar sets are being done for P-pump applications. It seems as though a convergent pattern increases soot emission without much effect on anything else. Josh Ayers was going to test a set this fall, but he lost a crank bearing and the engine will be down for a while.

I'm still really interested in finding the new latest and greatest, gonna tear the tranny out again (cant seem to make it live) but I'll be up and rolling in a month or so...
