9mm to 7mm conversion

I recently received a set of stock non I/C injectors from a member, the goal is to convert them to be used with an I/C head that was exchanged. I will post some more pictures and information later, so far this is the visible change, stock on left machined on right.

just turned down part of the nozzle? wouldn't it be a wash in machine time vs. buying new nozzles?

Time is not my concern, even if I paid to have the nozzles turned down, it would be much cheaper, but since I am doing the machine work, that is not an issue.

so you can remove that much material and there will be no "structural" issues? just wandring...

Yes, the common 6-hole Sac nozzle used in the 24v application is a Mack nozzle turned down in the same fashion.

that is cool that they are that thick. i guess you are only removing 1mm of material off them so it isn't like a bunch.

A few pictures of the process.

The set fired really well for being 20yrs old, I added 0.010" lift and set the opening pressure to 245BAR, they originally ranged between 200-225BAR.
