What do ya'll think the most efficient injectors are, the EDM's? I'm lookin at maybe gettin some new ones, I'm really impressed with the power and mpg gains from the BHAF I just installed. Wanna keep goin! Think I'm addicted

A Piezo and POD could both be injecting the same amount of fuel with the same turbo, and the Piezo would be making less smoke and more power every time. Becase it is a more efficient injector. I never said that an efficient turbo wasn't as important as an efficient injection system, but turbo efficiency isn't part of the diminishing-returns equation germane to smoke; if you could assume a 100% efficient injection system, there would be no diminishing-return equation germane to smoke. Only atomized fuel can burn. Injector inefficiency states that only a given percentage of the injected fuel is atomized in the combustion chamber; you have to let yourself not-burn some fuel so you can-burn the fuel that came with it. By supplying enough high-pressure air, turbochargers can force fuel to be atomized. But that's an inheirently inefficient process; it takes time, which an engine at high-RPM doesn't have.

Mine is a daily driver when I'm home. Do a little towing with it, but mainly just local. Mainly just lookin for power and fuel economy. Whatever you think, let me know.

If your just looking for a little more power, better fuel economy, and a smoother running engine I would take the stock sticks and have them balanced. No need to spend a ton of money on something that would be way overkill for what you do with your truck.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Workin on these things is still pretty new to me

You got a MPG gain with the filter? Bet you glad I made you spend that $$$ now huh?

yep
