Default turnin up my 91 cummins

I have a 91 dodge cummins and i wanna find a way to turn it up cheap. i don't want a hellah bunch of power. i just want someone to say damn when they see the smoke comin outta my twin 4" stacks. it isn't intercooled and i know this can be an issue with egt's and thats one reason i don't wanna turn it way up

I would turn the pin (or even buy a M&H or a DennyT), turn the star wheel down, and remove the high idle screw. Also check to make sure your getting full throttle when the peddle is to the floor.

X2

there's alot of slop in the factory pedal.. especially after abunch of miles and the plastic bushings get worn. i know mine has to still have some more to it... pedal is sloppy as hell, high idle screw is still installed and the throttle cable gracefully sags on the linkage under the hood... and i still spin tires at 20mph; of course there's no weight on the rear of the truck right now.

you can do the smoke screw alone; it wont hurt anything; the stock screw limits the adjustment so you cant get too carried away with it. (mines flush with the lock) but; as RSWORDS has said M&H has sponsored and teamed up with DB to do a fuel pin giveaway for first gen guys. M&H makes some good quality pins... i havent heard a bad thing about them. so; make sure your profile and contact information is fully filled out and good luck!
