12v wont start after fuel pin

I have been lirking on the site for a while and appreciate all the tech savvy guys on here. Hoping somebody can help me out. I searched the forums and cant seem to find the answer so my apologies if this is redundant. Here is where I am at. 1990 VE pump 12v wont start after I installed the 3200 spring and MH fuel pin. After installation truck ran but was close to run a way, so pulled it back in the garage and started to back the fuel out of it. After backing the fuel out of it via the power screw, bastard wont start. Pulled the top cover back off and verified that everything was correct a couple times. Nothing hanging up, throttle is smooth with no hangups and is clocked correctly, power screw is in factory starting point, and everything else is in factory settings.

I cracked all the lines to each injector and bled those lines and they all get fuel when cranking, fuel doesnt seem to be the issue. I tested the fuel solenoid for resistance and seems to be fine. I have called everyone in my "phone a friend" data base and everyone is stumped. No one in my town seems to have an idea what the issue could be...ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help

is the fuel cut off solenoid unplugged? its right by the fuel screw, maybe it came loose.

Have not changed a spring yet but believe you can damage the fulcrum if you do not back the fuel screw out before changing the spring.
I can check a coupe of other sites I am on and see what I can find.

Cheers Steve
