lope tune

So over the weekend i went to Scheid diesel extravaganza in Terre Haute Indiana. I dont know if many of u have heard of it but people come from a good 500-700 mile radus. Alot of big trucks and so forth. What i was wondering was i saw alot of trucks with a "lope tune" and i was kinda wondering how i could get one on my truck. I have a diablo sport preditor but im not sure how to get the "lope tune" even if there is one. any suggestions?

been stroked now im cummi 08-29-2011 01:23 PM

As far as i know no one makes a lope tune for a common rail or any dodge. Was most the trucks you heard lopeing drag trucks or pull trucks?

Doesnt happen on CR Cummins and even with EFI on the newer trucks it sounds like A$$ and theres no performance gain with it at all... Leave the lope to wanna-be's...

i figured out how to do it on my 6.7 by accident when installing my gauges i had the wires backwards on the rail psi sensor and it loped big time

You see alot of Duramax's with lope tunes because of EFI live, but as for Cummins it's hard on the motor(don't ask why because i don't have the answer to that), so not a good idea :td:, only good way to change the sound of a Common Rail and this is only for 06-07 5.9L's is buy EFI live and turn off pilot injection. But it's far from a lope. But back to the Loping D-max's, I have even heard of them having problems caused by lope tunes. Just a risk i wouldn't want to take just for my truck to lope at idle.
