tranny swap

I have an 03 w/ the nv4500. I wanna swap it to a built auto and I was just wondering if at all possible I could switch to a built auto without running electricals to it. I was going to run a floor shifter also. I won't do it if i'm going to run alot of electronics to it just a personal preference. Any help would be appreciated. And what transmission would be good to build for it. I'm swapping a 12v into it also.

do your self a favor and run what you have. it works good. with no electrical you have to use a 94 auto, but you will lose guages and the swap will be not worth the return. if you realy want auto go with same year as your truck and do the electrical dance.

ya i guess. i might just get a double disk clutch but they are so damn expensive.

price a rebuild on auto that will hold up with torqe conv. if you want to get rid of manual i will buy it!

haha I was told 4200 bucks with all billet shafts the way i wanted it so i think i'll stick with it. I might be buying an nv4500 soon though that i'll sell. the guy wants a 6 speed.

i would just put a dual disk clutch in it because by the time your done spending money on a built tranny and tc. it will just be easier keeping the nv4500. you should build the manual tranny instead
